There are too many Professional Christians in the church today, looking the part, but not living it. They are more concern with appearance then what is truly is going on inside. These are the lies they tell themselves.
Lie number 1: You're supposed to have it all together, and when someone ask how you're doing, you just smile and tell them, "Never better”.
Lie number 2: Everybody's life is perfect except yours, so keep your messes, your wounds, and your secrets safe behind closed doors. The fact is a Professional Christian rarely tells the truth. You say, "I'm fine, yeah, but the truth is you’re not, you’re broken.
And when things are out of control, You say I got it covered. But it's not and You know it, why is it so hard to admit it. When being honest is the only way to fix it.
There's no failure, no fall, there's no sin that you don't already know, so let the truth be told. There's a sign on the door that says, "Come as you are" but you doubt that is true because if we lived as if that were true, every Sunday morning every pew would be full.
But they say church should look more like a hospital, A safe place for the sick, for the sinner, the wounded, and the hurting.
There's no failure, no fall, there's no sin You don't already know, So let the truth be told. Can you really stand there unashamed Knowing that God’s love for you won't change?
If that's really true, then let the truth be told!
