We sometimes forget that we’re in a spiritual war and we also forget or don’t even realize that we are soldiers and as soldiers if we stop fighting, we lose our effectiveness as Christians in this world.
We have to accept the difficult reality of our identity: if you are a Christian, then you are a soldier. When I got saved, I had no idea that embracing Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior meant I had enlisted as a soldier in God’s Army.
I’ve also discovered that I’m more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ. Yet, for all the difficulty involved in this calling, there is a reward. We don’t fight for sake of fighting alone – we fight for love, truth, and goodness. We fight to save souls, glorify Jesus, and remind people there is still good in this world, and it’s worth fighting for.
Keep this truth in mind: the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Every demon has the same mission. How they go about it—their strategies and tactics—are different. Satan is strategic, His army is highly organized, and he is sending specific spirits against believers to derail them from their kingdom purpose.
My prayer is that you will gain discernment to identify spirits opposing your life—and the lives of those you love—and develop spiritual skills to battle back. Spiritual bondage can manifest in many ways, but the good news is that the victory is ours. By walking in our God-given authority, we can effectively do battle and win in warfare.
God Bless, Israel
