1. Cult
a system of religious worship and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object) horoscopes, Indian statues, Ouija boards, dream catchers, spiritualists, ghost chasing, talking to the dead, séances.
Deuteronomy 27:15 (NKJV)
15 ‘Cursed is the one who makes a carved or molded image, an abomination to the Lord, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’
2. Disrespect for parents
Deuteronomy 27:16 (NKJV)
16 ‘Cursed is the one who treats his father or his mother with contempt.’
Disrespecting your parents is an open door for curses. Anyone who has contempt for their parents would not live a blessed life. In your life there’s a curse, for many years I hated my mother because of what I felt she allowed to happen to me. And until I repented from the I couldn’t be blessed.
3. Injustice to the weak and helpless
Deuteronomy 27:18-19 (NKJV)
18 ‘Cursed is the one who makes the blind to wander off the road.’ 19 ‘Cursed is the one who perverts the justice due the stranger, the fatherless, and widow.’
When you hurt the weak and the needy you are cursed. When you rape a child, when you use a child, when you beat a child mercifully that you put them into the hospital you are cursed.
4. Anti-Semitism
The Department of State on May 26, 2016, adopted a non-legally binding “working definition” of anti-Semitism. “Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Verbal and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”
Genesis 12:1-3 (NKJV)
1Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
If you have this contempt towards the Jews or disrespect for the Jews, you need to reevaluate yourself as a Christian because the author of the bible was Jews, our Saver is Jewish, and He was born to a Jewish woman. If you have hatred or content for the Jewish people, you are cursed.
5. Accursed things
Meaning things that are under a curse.
Deuteronomy 7:26 (NIV)
26 Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction. Regard it as vile and utterly detest it, for it is set apart for destruction.
Bringing things into your house that had been dedicated to the enemy, things like charms, like the dream catchers La Mano de azabache, Indian Chief sculptures.
6. Stealing and Perjury
When you go to court and you swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing, but the truth so help you God and you know what you going to say is a lie you are cursed.
Zechariah 5:4 (NIV)
4 The Lord Almighty declares, ‘I will send it out, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of anyone who swears falsely by my name. It will remain in that house and destroy it completely, both its timbers and its stones.’”
If you steal any kind is stealing your cursed, and that’s an open door for the enemy to get in and create havoc.
7. Murmuring
Numbers 21:4-6 (NIV)
4 They traveled from Mount Hor along the route to the Red Sea, to go around Edom. But the people grew impatient on the way; 5 they spoke against God and against Moses, and said, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!”
6 Then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died.
Murmuring that has become part of your character is an opens the door to the enemy. What murmuring and complaining does to satan, worship does to God.
God inhabits the praises of his people. The enemy inhabits the complaining of his people. God seeks such that worships Him in spirit and in truth. The enemy seeks that which complaining and grumbling and whining. What worship does to God, grumbling winding complaining does to Satan. It’s an open invitation for a snakebite.
Murmuring and complaining is a character issue it’s not a circumstance issue.
Israel had more miracles happen to them in the wilderness than we could ever imagine, whenever they experience a miracle, it never fixes their complaining problems.
The problem wasn’t the circumstances, the problem was a character issue, it took one thing to show up late, and there they go again grumbling, whining, and complaining.
Your character is not made by your circumstances, it’s a byproduct of your choices. For you to blame your character on your circumstances it’s like blaming your mirror for a bad hair day. Your mirror only reflects that your hair looks bad, it didn’t make your hair bad.
Your hair is like your circumstance it only reflects that you are just a complaining person, it didn’t make you a complainer.
Israel complain, grumbled, and whined, this was their character, and they constantly blamed their circumstances for their issues.
Anytime you blame your circumstances, anytime you throw a self-pity party, anytime you go around woes me it’s a character issue it’s not a life circumstance issue and your character is a result of your choices.
The enemy is drawn to a complaining person, when you have that spirit of complaining you look for things to complain about.
When you’re a complaining person you’re hard to live with, you’re hard to have as a spouse, you’re hard to have as a sibling.
Fiery serpents started to bite the complaining Israelites, you know what happened when they get bit by a serpent, you get poisoned.
Tolerating complaining is faith contaminated.
It poisons you; it contaminates you from the insides. When your faith is contaminated you can’t see beyond your present situation, you can’t see beyond your circumstance.
And what do these serpents do they infuse their poison, they contaminate your faith, they poison your dreams and strangle your destiny, and when your faith is contaminated, and your dreams are poisoned you become disillusioned, you become confused, and everything is dark and gloomy.
The only way to fix it is to replace it with Thanksgiving; with joy, you have to make a choice.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV)
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Psalm 100:4-5 (NKJV)
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
God Bless, Israel
