1. Be fearless –
“Do not be afraid” the most important thing you need to know is to be fearless. This principle is so important that it’s in the bible over 300 times different variation, do not fear, do not be afraid, be fearless, over and over fear not, different variation same command.
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
It makes sense that Moses would tell the children of Israel, don’t to be afraid. They have been tortured for over 400 years; they had just been release by Pharaoh. They are literally days into this journey, and they hear that Pharaoh and the entire Egyptian army is right behind them, and they have the Red Sea in front of them. So, they have problems in front of them, they have a problem on either side of them and they have another problems coming up behind them.
Just like what you go through, once you fix this problem that’s in front of you, you turn to the side there’s another problem, you turn to the other side and there’s another problem, and right behind you another problems is on its way. Every place you turn it seems like you’re surrounded. When we are facing those circumstances, it makes sense in our natural imperfection to response emotionally with fear, it makes sense because we just human.
And still Moses looks at the children of Israel and said do not fear, even though your human reaction is fear. You have to make a choice not to wallow in fear, you get to the decide if you make friends with fear and allow it to cripple you and keep you from moving forward. If the Israelites would have allowed fear to cripple them, they will never have gotten the opportunity to see the incredible miracle that God had for them.
The enemy knows that fear will cripple you. As long as you are just sitting in church listening to the message, he does have a problem with that. The problem is with someone who comes to church, stays in the presence of God. Walking out of the church and lives fearlessly in obedience to God, moving onward towards your destiny that God has for you.
He doesn’t what us to take the word of God to heart and live our lives disregarding any intentions he has to cripple us and keep us from moving forward. You have a decision to make, are you going to entertain fear, are you going to invited fear in your life. When you pray considering options in your life and you have to choose between one option or another, and if there is one in particular option that you don’t have peace with it, and you consider all the reasons why you don’t want to choose that option.
When you look at all the reasons, and if there’s anything having to do with fear or intimidation or insecurity that is keeping you away from that option, you have to automatically know that’s not God, because God has not given us a spirit of fear. If there’s a spirit of fear attach to an option in your life, that must mean that the enemy’s is trying to steer you away from that particular option, he must know that there is a blessing in that option that he doesn’t want you to have.
If you find a spirit of fear has attached itself to a specific area in your life, ask God is this my Red Sea. If the enemy is trying to steer you clear of that option, it’s because he knows God has a plan for that option your life.
God Bless, Israel - Say tune for more!
